Job Summary:
We are seeking an Acquisition Sourcing Specialist with deep expertise in the healthcare sector to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), this pivotal role is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets within the healthcare industry, including but not limited to healthcare services, medical technology, and digital health solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust network within the healthcare industry, a proven track record of identifying high-potential opportunities, and the ability to navigate the complexities of healthcare regulations and market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Acquisition Identification: Proactively identify and assess potential acquisition targets within the healthcare sector that align with Carmichael & Russ Capital’s strategic objectives and investment criteria.
- CIO Collaboration: Work closely with the CIO to refine and execute the healthcare acquisition strategy, providing regular insights and updates on industry trends, regulatory changes, and potential investment opportunities.
- Industry Networking: Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare industry stakeholders, including business owners, healthcare providers, technology innovators, and regulatory bodies, to build a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
- Regulatory and Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of healthcare market dynamics, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions and identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Deal Origination: Initiate contact and preliminary discussions with potential acquisition targets, leveraging industry expertise and negotiation skills to foster positive relationships and lay the groundwork for successful acquisitions.
- Performance Benchmarks: Achieve or surpass defined performance benchmarks, including the number of qualified leads generated, engagement with potential targets, and contributions to strategic goals and initiatives.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: Competitive, reflecting the specialized knowledge and strategic importance of this role.
- Deal Closure Bonus: Generous bonuses awarded for each successfully closed acquisition, designed to recognize and reward direct contributions to the company’s growth in the healthcare sector.
