Job Summary:
We are in search of an astute Acquisition Sourcing Specialist with a specialty in the retail sector and a background in real estate. Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), this pivotal role demands a proactive approach to sourcing lucrative retail and real estate opportunities, leveraging strong negotiation skills, and contributing to our strategic acquisition goals.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Acquisition Sourcing: Proactively identify potential retail businesses and related real estate assets for acquisition, aligning with strategic objectives.
- Expert Negotiation: Utilize documented negotiation experience to initiate discussions and frame deals that benefit both parties, under the guidance and strategic direction of the CIO.
- Real Estate Acumen: Apply insights into real estate trends to identify properties that bolster our retail investment strategy, enhancing our portfolio’s value and growth potential.
- Industry Networking: Forge and nurture connections with key stakeholders in the retail and real estate sectors to maintain a steady flow of acquisition opportunities.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analyses to spot trends, assess target acquisitions, and provide actionable insights to the CIO for informed decision-making.
- Performance Benchmarks Achievement: Meet or exceed benchmarks focused on the quality and quantity of retail and real estate acquisition leads, effective negotiation outcomes, and strategic market expansion.
- Collaborative Strategic Planning: Engage in strategic discussions with the CIO and the broader acquisitions team to refine acquisition strategies based on evolving market conditions and insights.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: Competitive, reflecting the critical nature of this role in our strategic expansion efforts.
